Olivea Pearl Kelly is an independent designer and visual artist based in New York City with over a decade of experience in graphic design, textile art, creative direction, and more.
Olivea (b. 1992, Rhode Island) received her BFA in Graphic Design from The New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University in 2014. After several years in the corporate design world, she returned to hands-on making and founded OPK Studio, a textile and fiber art practice focused on tactile handmade work.
Her creative practice now spans multiple disciplines, reflecting a deep dedication to material exploration and process. Her design background continues to inform her sense of composition and communication, while her current work is rooted in craft traditions, slow making, and the expressive potential of textiles.
Today, Olivea maintains a multifaceted independent practice. She creates textile-based artwork, works on creative collaborations, and takes on select freelance design projects. She is available for commissions, exhibitions, and collaborations.
